Temporary accommodation with a mission

Our Focus

The Welcome Home Project provides high quality, nightly temporary and emergency accommodation for single mothers predominantly who are being supported by the local council, achieving for children or social services irrespective of their visa status. We wish to provide a real alternative to large hotel chains with appropriate facilities for mums at a better price.

If you wish to make a referral from a charity, home office or other organisation please get in touch to discuss. We will always do our best to help.

Every family will receive bespoke support from people with lived experience.

The project will be managed on a day to day basis by a former NRPF single mum who will support each family. The project will go on to provide employment opportunities for mothers who have left the project and who have gone on to get their status.

The first home in the project is a 5 bed + 5 bath house in leafy Twickenham (TW2), where any London borough can place NRPF single mums with the option of high quality, nightly accommodation until a suitable long-term home is available. For less than the price of a Travelodge, families will have:

Private bedroom with ensuite bathroom

Each room will have their own fridge & microwave.

Cots, if needed for infants

Shared living room, kitchen, laundry room and garden

Hi speed WiFi

Kind Words!

“While staying with Lise and James’s family, me and my kids felt safe. They supported us through tough times, helping us heal and find hope. Their kindness towards us will always be remembered. We really appreciate them for how much they have helped us. They are such a kind and lovely family, and God bless them. I will never them.”

“My name is Angel I have a daughter by the name Miracle. I am a single mother who experienced domestic abuse. I found myself homeless until I met Lisa she open her door for us. She and her family, they welcome us to their wonderful home. We had our own space. We were really happy and free to do anything. She also motivated me to be strong on my journey. “

“Lise and her husband both are warm and welcoming. The house is immaculate. You have your own bathroom, fridge and microwave. Lise and Orneda are very supportive, kind hearted, caring and easy to get along with. “

“When I heard about Welcome Home project I was very happy for her because she always wanted to do more to help single mothers, I wanted to wish her luck and tell her I will always be grateful for what she has done for me and what she is doing for other single mothers.”
